About

The Clatsop Cruise Hosts is a non-profit organization dedicated to welcoming cruise ships to our amazing community.  Our goal is to educate visitors about our community and to encourage passengers and crew to explore, shop and enjoy the Oregon North Coast.

We are a group of dedicated volunteers who enjoy meeting people and sharing their love of the area.  

Each season we encourage our volunteers to re-discover the history of our region and to learn what is new in downtown Astoria and to anticipate what the passengers will enjoy on some of their local excursions to Seaside. We provide everyone with up-to-date information about location of restrooms, wi-fi access, pharmacies, the US Post Office and many more details.

The positive and friendly welcome that passengers receive not only from the Cruise Hosts, but from the merchants, has given us a great reputation.

​​More than  80 Cruise Hosts volunteer on a regular basis.
